Does Sapt work with my shop management software?

Sapt has a native Shopmonkey appointment integration. It connects to the shop's location, reads its schedule, and books accepted appointments into Shopmonkey. You keep using Shopmonkey for the work inside the shop.

Tekmetric, Torque360, and ARI integrations are in progress. Our team handles setup, works through the connections your shop needs, and tests the supported workflow with you. Tell us what you use today. We will confirm what can connect now, what is still being built, and how requests reach your advisor in the meantime. Before automatic booking goes live, we agree which calendar is authoritative and verify the connection.

Reviewed October 14, 2026. These are Sapt's current connection boundaries, not a ranking of the shop systems or an assertion of vendor endorsement.

Four different things people call an integration

A link or embedded booking form sends a customer to a vendor's scheduler. It does not establish that a separate assistant can read the vendor's availability or change appointments.

An export and import moves records at a point in time. It needs a clear owner, permitted use, duplicate handling, and an update process. It is not live synchronization.

A one-way connection can perform a specific read or write. Creating an appointment does not prove that a later cancellation returns to the other system.

A native appointment connection needs explicit capabilities: availability, creation, changes, cancellation, and failure handling. Customer records, estimates, paid invoices, and declined-work history are separate capabilities. Test the one you intend to use.

What to check for each system

Tekmetric's marketing documentation already covers booking, messaging, reviews, websites, and advertising features. Shopmonkey also offers marketing and front-desk products. Review what your current subscription actually includes before adding another service. Decide which system sends each confirmation, reminder, and review request so a customer does not receive conflicting messages.

A shop's booking rules are more than empty calendar space

An opening on a calendar is not automatically an available lift, a qualified technician, or a promise that parts will arrive. Define the services you accept, booking duration, drop-off versus waiting, lead time, and capacity with the advisor.

A diagnostic appointment should not promise a completed repair by a particular time. A price question should use an approved price or go to the shop; the assistant should not invent a diagnosis or estimate. Give unfamiliar jobs and vehicle types a route to a human.

The integration acceptance checklist

Run this with test appointments before directing customer traffic to a new setup:

  1. Confirm the business, location, timezone, and account permissions.
  2. Put a busy period in the authoritative calendar and confirm it is not offered.
  3. Ask about a service the shop does not perform and check the handoff.
  4. Ask for a price that has not been approved and confirm the assistant asks the shop.
  5. Offer an opening, then occupy it before the customer accepts. Confirm availability is checked again.
  6. Accept a valid opening and confirm exactly one appointment appears in the right location.
  7. Confirm the service, vehicle information supplied, customer details, and notes are useful to the advisor.
  8. Retry the same booking and check for duplicates.
  9. Move the appointment and verify both systems show the new time within the documented sync interval.
  10. Cancel it and confirm stale reminders stop.
  11. Disconnect access during a test and confirm the system asks for help instead of inventing availability.
  12. Confirm who sends confirmations and reminders, and remove duplicate automations.
  13. Test the owner's notification and escalation reply.
  14. Confirm how a shop marks work completed before triggering a review request.
  15. Document the fallback when the connection is unavailable and who owns fixing it.

For a system without a live connection, replace automatic-booking promises with a clear request-and-confirm process. The advisor must know which requests still need action.

What Sapt costs alongside your shop software

Sapt's mechanic-shop service is $297 a month flat for the managed website and Google listing, missed-call text-back, and text-based front desk. Your shop-management subscription and any vendor access charges remain separate. Paid advertising is separate too.

Before setup, tell us what runs the shop today, including a system not listed here. Our team will investigate the connection you need, confirm what is supported, and handle setup and testing with you. You should not have to manage the technical work yourself. Start with the Shopmonkey implementation guide, or use the shop owner resource library to find the vendor's original documentation.

Common questions

Does Sapt have a native Tekmetric, Torque360, or ARI integration?

Those integrations are in progress. Our team confirms the supported workflow, handles setup and testing, and agrees a request handoff while a connection is being built. Do not assume live availability or two-way synchronization until the connection is ready and tested.

Does Sapt integrate with Shopmonkey?

Yes. The native appointment integration connects to a Shopmonkey location, reads availability, and books accepted appointments. Setup includes checking the location, booking rules, notifications, and appointment changes.

Does an integration synchronize everything in the shop?

No. Appointment access does not imply access to paid invoices, inventory, every repair order, or a complete customer-history sync. Confirm the exact records, direction, timing, and failure behavior for each workflow.

Can I keep my current shop software?

Yes. Keep the system that runs estimates, repair orders, parts, and invoices. Sapt handles the managed website, Google listing, and front-desk conversations, with a supported calendar or an agreed request handoff.

Sapt texts missed callers back, offers real openings, and books the time your customer accepts. We manage the website and Google listing. You keep fixing cars.
