What Shop Marketing Pros sells
Shop Marketing Pros is a marketing agency that only works with auto repair shops. Its pricing overview says its founders are former shop owners, and its website page says the team teaches marketing for many automotive trade associations.
It sells websites, SEO, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Local Services Ads, streaming TV and display ads, and social media management. After a Discovery Call and a signed agreement, an onboarding specialist runs a Kickoff Meeting, and around the 30-day mark you are introduced to a Client Success Manager for strategy, reporting and check-ins.
What it costs
Shop Marketing Pros publishes its prices. Its pricing page lists four packages: Website with a Plan at $1,598 a month, Car Count Booster at $2,497, The Top-Tier at $3,396 and Legacy Builder at $5,295, which is invitation-only. Each package price drops by about $500 a month after 18 months, and additional locations cost $799 to $3,996 each, depending on the package.
Services are also sold one at a time. SEO is $999 or $1,999 a month. Social media management is $999 a month, with a recommended $150 a month ad budget that isn’t included. Google Ads, Facebook Ads and Local Services Ads management are $999 a month each, with minimum ad spends of $2,000, $600 and $1,200 a month billed separately. Websites are $499, $599 or $699 a month for 10, 20 or 30 custom-written pages, then $199 a month after 18 months. Buying more services takes $100 off for each one added.
Sapt is $297 a month flat: no setup fee, no contract, and we refund your payment if it isn’t worth it to you in the first 30 days. Ad spend and campaign management are separate. See what auto repair marketing costs for published prices across vendors.
Contract and website ownership
Every package lists an “18 Month Agreement for Website” and a 3-month agreement for SEO, ads and social media. The pricing FAQ says “Each marketing service begins with a three-month base agreement,” and that after that, “services continue on a month-to-month basis.”
On ownership, the pricing page says: “The website is 100% yours after completing 18 months of payments.” The $499 to $699 website fee covers custom design, hosting and maintenance, monthly edits and analytics reporting, and drops to $199 a month after 18 months. We didn’t find public terms of service on its site, so ask to see the agreement, including what happens to the site if you leave before 18 months.
Shop Marketing Pros’ own website page suggests the same questions for any provider: “Will I ever own my website, or am I basically renting it?” and “If I want to take my website and have it hosted elsewhere, can I do that, and what will the process look like?” The website guide lists more.
Where Sapt is different
Missed calls. You keep the number your customers already know, and Sapt works with almost all major phone providers. If nobody picks up, the caller gets a text from your shop right away. We found no missed-call text-back on Shop Marketing Pros’ public pages.
Someone answers. Sapt’s AI front desk answers the customer’s questions by text and offers real openings. With a supported calendar connected it books the accepted time, and you get a text with the details. Questions it can’t answer come to you. Shop Marketing Pros’ work is bringing in calls and leads; we found no answering or booking service on its public pages.
The website is part of the $297. We build your website from your Google listing, on your own domain, with no 18-month agreement. We keep your listing’s hours, services, photos and phone right, and each month you get a report of where you show up on Google Maps. Review request texts go out when you tap Job done, and declined-work follow-up texts work from an export of your shop software. See what Sapt does for repair shops.
One shop per area. We don’t take on the shop down the street. We found no area exclusivity on Shop Marketing Pros’ public pages.
Where Shop Marketing Pros is stronger
It runs your marketing, not just your website. Its SEO plans add custom blog posts or pages each month, weekly Google Business Profile posts, citations, link building and schema markup. It manages Google Ads, Facebook Ads and Local Services Ads, including Local Services Ads verification and call reviews, plus streaming TV and display ads. Sapt’s $297 doesn’t include ad campaign management.
The work is custom and hands-on. Every website is designed from a mockup you review, and social media management includes 3 to 5 posts a week with a dedicated strategist. You get regular strategy calls and monthly reporting.
You may be able to keep your current site. The pricing page notes “A new website is not usually required to work with SMP,” though its pricing overview adds that for SEO, “your site has to meet strict performance standards, and most of the time, that means a rebuild.” And after 18 months of payments, it says the website is yours.
Your shop software
We didn’t find shop software integrations on Shop Marketing Pros’ public pages. Its Kickoff Meeting gathers the access its team needs, including logins and schedulers.
Sapt keeps your shop software. Shopmonkey appointment booking is live. Tekmetric, Torque360 and ARI integrations are in progress, and other systems aren’t connected yet. If yours isn’t live, contact our team or email hello@sapt.ai and we’ll help get a connection set up. Until then, the assistant takes the booking request and your advisor confirms it.
