A missed customer call becomes a text conversation, a booking, and a recovered job. The film then shows attribution, a shop website, ads, reviews, local visibility, and AI search. It closes: You run the shop. We bring in the next customer.
Sapt works alongside Mitchell 1, not instead of it
This page is not a case for leaving Mitchell 1. Manager SE stays your shop system, and SocialCRM can keep sending your reminders, postcards and campaigns. Sapt covers different jobs: the calls nobody picks up, customers who would rather text, and your Google listing.
Sapt and Manager SE today. Sapt isn’t connected to Mitchell 1 yet, and it still works for Manager SE shops. The assistant answers the customer by text and takes the booking request, then your advisor confirms the time in Manager SE. Nothing lands on your schedule without your team seeing it first.

What SocialCRM includes
SocialCRM is Mitchell 1’s shop marketing service. Its product page splits it into core SocialCRM services and three premium online services: LocalSearch, Book It Now and Google Ads.
Texts. Text campaigns, sent now or scheduled up to a week ahead, plus automated pre-visit appointment reminders and post-visit thank-you texts pulled from Manager SE. Customers opt in first: SocialCRM emails them a link to join your texting list. Per its texting page, you get a notification when a customer replies.
Email. Per its email page: service reminders based on projected mileage, timing belt and state inspection reminders, emails about recommended work a customer didn’t buy, and a “Haven’t Seen You in a While” email after 12 months away. Mitchell 1 also runs an email match to find missing customer addresses.
Reviews. Thank-you messages link to a review tied to the visit, verified through SureCritic, and customers are then invited to post a Google review. Low scores trigger a short survey and an email alert, per the reviews page.
Postcards, social and reports. Postcards for service reminders and promotions, a Facebook business page set up by your support agent with monthly content to share, and monthly or weekly reports that compare your numbers with last year and with local and national benchmarks.
Book It Now. Mitchell 1 launched it in March 2026 as a premium scheduling product. Customers book from your Google Business Profile or website using real-time Manager SE availability. Updates added a text to customers who start a booking and don’t finish (May 2026), service pricing and recommended services (July 2026) and a Book Online button on your Google Business Profile (October 2026).
What it costs
Mitchell 1 doesn’t publish SocialCRM prices. Its pages offer a free demo, and the price is set on your order form. Mitchell 1’s ordering terms say services renew automatically month to month and need 30 days’ notice to cancel during a renewal period.
A few extras do have published fees. Per the SocialCRM policy page, postcard cover art and coupon changes beyond four a year cost $150 each. LocalSearch website changes go through your SocialCRM agent, once every two months and six times a year, and the site template is chosen once.
Sapt is $297 a month flat, separate from your Mitchell 1 subscriptions. There’s no setup fee and no contract, and we refund your payment if it isn’t worth it to you in the first 30 days. Paid ad spend is separate.
If you run both, you pay for both, so be clear which jobs each one does.
What Sapt adds around SocialCRM
A text back for every missed call. You keep the number your customers already know, and Sapt works with almost all major phone providers. If nobody picks up, the caller gets a text back right away. We found no call answering or missed-call text-back in SocialCRM’s public pages. See how missed-call text-back works.
A front desk by text. Sapt’s AI front desk answers customers by text. With a connected calendar it offers real openings and books the accepted time, and you get a text for each booking. Questions it can’t answer come to you. Book It Now serves customers who want to book themselves online; Sapt serves the ones who call or text.
Your Google listing looked after. We handle listing upkeep and send you a monthly Google Maps rank report.
A website. We build it from your Google listing, on your own domain. If you already have a LocalSearch site, see the note on websites below.
Set up for you. Our team does the setup. And we work with one shop per area, so we won’t take on the shop down the street.
Where SocialCRM is stronger
It works straight from your Manager SE data. Reminders are timed from each vehicle’s projected mileage, recommendations entered in Manager SE trigger follow-up emails, and reviews are matched to real invoices. Sapt’s declined-work texts work from an export of your shop software.
It reaches customers in ways Sapt doesn’t: email, printed postcards and social media posts. And it comes with a named marketing specialist at the company that makes your shop software.
If your team lives in Manager SE, seeing reviews, appointment requests and each customer’s marketing history on the same screen is a real advantage.
Running both without double messages
If you keep SocialCRM and add Sapt, give every customer message one owner. Settle these before you go live:
Review requests. SocialCRM’s thank-you text and email invite a review after each visit. Sapt sends one when you tap Job done. Use one and switch the other off, so nobody is asked twice.
Confirmations and reminders. SocialCRM sends pre-visit reminder texts for appointments in Manager SE. When Sapt’s assistant takes a booking request, your advisor confirms it in Manager SE. Check one test booking end to end so the customer gets one confirmation and one set of reminders.
Calls nobody picks up. We found no call answering in SocialCRM, so Sapt’s text back shouldn’t overlap with it. We test that call path with you during setup.
Declined work. SocialCRM emails customers about recommendations entered in Manager SE. If you use those emails, let SocialCRM own declined work.
Websites and booking links. If you have a LocalSearch site or Book It Now, decide which website and which booking link your Google listing points to.
Campaigns and postcards. Keep them in SocialCRM, where your opt-ins and customer history live.
The shop software checklist covers the rest of the test. If your shop runs on Shopmonkey or Tekmetric instead, see Shopmonkey CRM Essentials and Sapt or Sapt vs Tekmetric Marketing.
